Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement metrics for ranking, interview analytics, and payouts systems to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and quasi-experiments to inform product decisions within tight deadlines.
  • Build data dashboards and lightweight models to empower teams with autonomous access to information.
  • Collaborate with engineers to instrument events, enhance data quality, and minimize latency from ingestion to insight.
  • Prototype models (from baselines to gradient boosting) to enhance matching and scoring capabilities.
  • Evaluate LLM-powered agents by designing rubrics, conducting human-in-the-loop studies, and deploying guardrail canaries.

Success Requirements:

Candidates will need a solid foundation in statistics, SQL, and Python, accompanied by a portfolio of projects they can showcase. They should be able to iterate rapidly, frame questions, test, and ship solutions within days while prioritizing clear communication as much as statistical significance. Curiosity about LLM evaluation, retrieval, and ranking is beneficial, as you'll learn alongside experts from renowned companies.

Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience in data science/analytics or a related field; BS/BA in a quantitative discipline (or equivalent work).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL; Python for analysis; comfort with experiment design and causal thinking.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with engineers, PMs, and leadership; translate analysis into actionable insights.
  • Nice-to-haves: dbt, dashboarding (Hex/Mode/Looker), marketplace or search/recommendation metrics, LLM/agent evaluation.
