Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Operations Leader to drive strategic initiatives for datacenter management and cloud deployments.

  • The ideal candidate will develop and implement infrastructure strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Negotiate software, hardware, and IT supply purchases as approved by senior management.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, hardware, and IT supplies.
  • Collaborate with senior management and peers on matters requiring alternate approaches.
  • Oversee outsourced teams for daily operations and activities.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems, analyzing situations based on organizational objectives.
  • Perform live disaster recovery activities and periodic drills.
Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management, including on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructure.

Skills Required:

  • Program and project management expertise.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure, including servers, storage, databases, operating systems, and networks.
  • Excellent knowledge and exposure to cloud computing.

Functional Competencies:

  • Ability to perform infrastructure discovery assessments and transformation strategies.
  • Holistic understanding of all data center functions.
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros, cons, and migration consideration.
