Job Description

As a data center mechanical design expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative cooling solutions for hyperscale data centers. Your primary goal will be to create efficient and reliable systems that meet the demands of large-scale data center operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and engineering of cooling systems for large-scale data centers or mission-critical facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cooling solutions with other building and data center systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and optimizing cooling infrastructure for data centers to maintain desired temperature and humidity levels;
  • Selecting and specifying cooling equipment, components, and materials considering energy efficiency, scalability, and system integration;
  • Performing detailed thermal load analysis to assess heat generation and distribution within the data center;
  • Utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and other tools to model airflow and cooling efficiency;
Key Responsibilities
  • Cooling System Design Leadership: Lead the technical aspects of cooling design throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cooling solutions with other building and data center systems;
  • Sustainability and Energy Efficiency: Design and implement sustainable and energy-efficient cooling systems with a focus on minimizing energy consumption;
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services, Energy Systems, or a related field;
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and engineering of cooling systems for large-scale data centers or mission-critical facilities;
  • Extensive experience with a wide range of cooling technologies including air-cooled and liquid-cooled systems, chillers, CRAC units, and precision cooling systems;
