Data Insights Specialist

About the Opportunity:

Lingaro is seeking an experienced professional to join our team. As a Data Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from data, developing predictive models, and implementing AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract insights from data using Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, and Machine Learning techniques
  • Develop and deploy AI-powered solutions using multiple techniques and tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, transform them into technical plans, and deliver projects following CRISP-DM methodologies
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest improvements to existing pipelines

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years of DS/Operations Research experience
  • Experience in optimization methodologies, including use of various optimization libraries (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, ortools)
  • Strong Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts and basic working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working in cloud technologies (preferred MS Azure or GCP)
  • Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts
  • Experience in CRISP-DM projects delivery and Agile project management (Scrum or Kanban)

Desirable Skills:

  • Other programming languages knowledge (e.g., R)
  • Experience working in Spark (PySpark)
  • Understanding and experience in applying Data Science/Machine Learning methods to Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory, or Sustainability)
