Senior Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead our data protection efforts, utilizing advanced technical skills and business acumen to safeguard our assets.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled security professional to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive data loss prevention strategies. As a key member of our advisory group, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage DLP solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data protection strategies that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Design and deploy DLP solutions, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance of endpoint, network, and cloud-based tools.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate DLP solutions with existing security infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on data classification, encryption, and compliance frameworks.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in data protection and security administration, with a focus on DLP implementation and management.
  • Advanced knowledge of DLP tools, including Forcepoint DLP, Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, McAfee DLP, Digital Guardian, and Netskope.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Forcepoint DLP System Engineer.
  • Certified Forcepoint DLP Administrator.
  • Symantec Data Loss Prevention 15.5 Technical Specialist.
  • Trend Micro Certified Professional.
