Product Design Leader

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive the development of consumer and industrial electronic products from concept design to tooling and product launch.

  • This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and leadership ability to guide a small team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complete mechanical design and development lifecycle: concept design to tooling and product launch.
  • Translate customer/market requirements into innovative and manufacturable product designs.
  • Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with full GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
  • Perform design calculations, DFMEA, and tolerance analysis for robust product performance.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of mechanical engineers, providing technical guidance and design reviews.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with electrical, firmware, quality, sourcing, and manufacturing teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and development.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches.
