VP of Product Design

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The VP of Product Design will drive the overall user experience strategy, manage a team of senior and junior product designers, and ensure alignment with our design system and product goals. This role requires expertise in Figma, Adobe Suite, AI-powered design tools (Claude Sonnet, Lovable AI), and attention-driven insight tools to create user-centric and data-driven designs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor the UI/UX team (senior and junior designers).
  • Define and maintain the CIMET design system for all Whitelabel SaaS products.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to align design with business goals.

Product Design & Execution

  • Drive end-to-end design for new features, products, and verticals.
  • Use Figma and Adobe tools for prototyping, wireframing, and UI design.
  • Utilize attention insight and AI-driven tools to validate and improve design decisions.
  • Conduct usability studies and incorporate user feedback for continuous improvement.

Innovation & Best Practices

  • Introduce data-informed design processes and ensure design consistency across products.
  • Stay updated with modern design trends, AI in UX, and best practices in SaaS and Whitelabel solutions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6-10 years of experience in UI/UX/Product Design, with 2+ years in a lead role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in SaaS products or Whitelabel platforms.
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI/attention-insight tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional Agile product teams.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design.
