Senior Fashion Merchandiser Position

We are seeking a Senior Fashion Merchandiser to drive strategic product development and commercial growth.

This role will involve leading a team of fashion merchandisers, fostering collaboration and excellence in product assortment and sales performance.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Indian/ethnic and contemporary western clothing, with strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills to motivate teams and achieve business goals.

A self-motivated individual with strong managerial skills and ability to work independently is required. Experience with EBOs and India's leading MBOs is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating purchase orders based on market trends, customer insights, and design direction. They will also travel within India for trunk shows and promotional events, ensuring effective brand representation and sales activation.

A key aspect of this role will be working closely with the design team to provide expert guidance on seasonal collections, incorporating market research, customer feedback, and brand positioning.

The Senior Fashion Merchandiser will take ownership of costing for collections, balancing profitability with quality and aesthetic standards. They will also coordinate with the production department to ensure timely delivery of purchase orders, maintaining high-quality products and meeting business objectives.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to manage their time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
