Creating innovative and natural personal care products requires a unique blend of skills and knowledge. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing new formulations that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related field, with experience in formulating natural and Ayurvedic products. You will be responsible for conducting stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize natural personal care products using fresh ingredients, minimal processing, and no preservatives
  • Research and implement innovative, eco-friendly ingredients and technologies
  • Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety
  • Support product claims substantiation and regulatory documentation as needed
  • Oversee pilot plant trials, troubleshooting any formulation challenges and optimizing processes for manufacturing efficiency (mid-scale to large-scale production)

Skill sets:

  • Masters degree in chemistry/biochemistry/pharmaceutical science/cosmetic/Ayurveda
  • Experience in formulating natural or Ayurvedic products
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong understanding of natural preservatives, stabilizers, emulsifiers, surfactants, etc.
