Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled IT infrastructure management professional to lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our colocation server infrastructure. This individual will oversee the daily operations of our data centers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain colocation server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles.
  • Develop and implement operational protocols and safety measures to ensure a secure and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee rack and server installations and configurations, ensuring they meet industry standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts and manage relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in colocation services, applying this knowledge to improve our infrastructure and services.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and outages, taking proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Document operational procedures and updates for future reference, ensuring seamless handovers and onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure management, including experience with NSE colocation server management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze system logs and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Knowledge of server security protocols and best practices.
  • Experience working with teams to satisfy client IT needs.
