We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep domain knowledge in healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), EDI standards, and clearinghouse operations. This role demands a strategic thinker who can define product vision, manage roadmaps, and deliver impactful features through agile methodologies.

This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, high-performance solutions that optimize healthcare workflows and maximize value for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog; ensure features deliver value to end users and align with business strategy.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, storyboarding, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Define clear, testable acceptance criteria for user stories and features.
  • Translate complex healthcare domain requirements into actionable stories for the development team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Domain Expertise

- Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes: claims submission, adjudication, billing, and payments.

- Expertise in EDI standards (X12, HL7) for healthcare data exchange.

- Experience with clearinghouse operations, including claims validation, routing, and data transformation.

- Proficiency in handling high-volume healthcare data exchange systems.

Product Management Skills

- Demonstrated ability to develop a clear product vision and strategic roadmap.

- Proficient in product lifecycle management from ideation to release and continuous improvement.

- Skilled in backlog ownership, prioritizing features that balance short-term needs with long-term product goals.

- Experience in requirements gathering, user story writing, and cross-functional collaboration.
