Lateral Flow Assay Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lateral Flow Assay (LFA) specialist to spearhead our assay development endeavors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and validating LFAs for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop novel LFAs for point-of-care diagnostics and research applications.
  • Conduct thorough literature reviews to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LFA technology and related fields.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of LFAs into our product pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of LFA protocols, procedures, and results.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to internal stakeholders on LFA-related matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3+ years of hands-on, direct LFA development experience in academia or IVD/medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of LFA development from conception to validation.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience with nanoparticle bioconjugation, particularly gold nanoparticles, including nanoparticle fabrication characterization and stability assessment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex LFA performance issues.
