Job Summary

As a Strength and Conditioning Coach, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the development and performance of youth football athletes. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary sports team, you will design and deploy contemporary strength and conditioning processes and techniques to drive results.

Responsibilities:

">
  1. Create, review, update, and deploy policies, programs, and procedures from the sports science domain for day-to-day operational rhythm in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
  2. Develop and assist in all physical assessment procedures, ensuring data is recorded and interpreted to inform future program considerations.
  3. Manage data in accordance with relevant legislation, processes, and procedures, maintaining database and analytics on athletes' performance data, conditioning, therapy, and rehabilitation sessions.
  4. Provide consulting support to optimize nutritional and dietary practices in the context of athletic performance and health.
  5. Lead by example, ensuring safety and risk aspects are considered within all sports science interventions/programs.
  6. Collaborate successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve performance and wellbeing objectives.
  7. Demonstrate skills in building and nurturing productive working relationships through a motivational teaching and coaching style.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with advanced education in sports science or a related program.
  • Significant and demonstrated experience in catering to holistic needs of professional football players and coaches through scientific application of knowledge from the domains of sports science and wellbeing.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve performance and wellbeing objectives.
