We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Insights Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation.

Job Description:

The Data Insights Specialist will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and structuring raw data from various sources. They will then use this data to drive business decisions, identify trends, and optimize performance across retail and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse sales, inventory, customer behaviour, and pricing performance
  • Collect and structure raw data from POS, ERP, CRM, Google Analytics, marketplaces, and social/digital platforms
  • Build dashboards and automated reports using Power BI, Tableau, track KPIs across retail and e-commerce
  • Lead demand forecasting, product performance evaluation, assortment analysis, and customer segmentation
  • Conduct micro-level and predictive analysis to support marketing, merchandising, and supply chain planning
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 5+ years in data analysis, with 3+ years in retail/wholesale analytics
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs, sales metrics, and inventory data
  • Experience with POS, ERP, and retail analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
  • Experience with retail forecasting and customer segmentation
  • Background in omni-channel or eCommerce environments
