Job Overview:

You'll design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using modern infrastructure-as-code practices. You will create reusable constructs to define scalable and secure AWS resources.

Your daily responsibilities include deploying AWS infrastructure components like Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC. You will manage deployment lifecycles with CDK CLI commands and write unit tests to ensure code quality. You'll collaborate closely with DevOps and cloud teams to debug infrastructure issues and optimize automation workflows.

This role demands strong programming skills, familiarity with package management, and a practical approach to infrastructure automation that supports scalable cloud environments.

What does day-to-day look like:

  • Design and develop AWS infrastructure as code using AWS CDK.
  • Build and manage AWS infrastructure components like Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.
  • Manage package dependencies and builds in the Node.js environment.
  • Run CDK CLI commands to deploy infrastructure changes.
  • Write and maintain unit tests to validate infrastructure code.
  • Debug and troubleshoot infrastructure deployment and runtime issues.

Key Requirements:

  • AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK) expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript features: interfaces, types, classes, and generics.
  • Experience with the Node.js runtime environment and npm package management.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS core infrastructure services.
  • Familiarity with CDK CLI commands.
  • Experience writing unit tests with Jest.
