Oracle FCCS Functional Consultant Role Overview

The role of Oracle FCCS Functional Consultant involves leading the implementation and configuration of Oracle Financial Close and Consolidation Cloud Service (FCCS) for various clients. This position requires a high level of technical expertise in FCCS, as well as experience with integration tools like HFM and EPM/Hyperion using FDMEE/ODI/Data Management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing financial close and consolidation solutions. They should also possess excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the overall project, including solution design, validation, and testing.
  • Guiding the project team through business requirement gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, user training, and testing.
  • Creating project documents such as BRDs, SDDs, test scripts, and manuals.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing expert-level support and guidance on FCCS-related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA or MBA Finance qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical capabilities in FCCS.
  • Experience with integration tools like HFM and EPM/Hyperion using FDMEE/ODI/Data Management.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
