About Our Job

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on projects involving cloud data pipelines, particularly with AWS Databricks and Python.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS native data architecture and services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and EMR. Experience with handling the AWS Cloud platform, specifically Databricks Spark, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define foundational business data domains and elements
  • Capture data definitions in collaboration with data product and stewards
  • Drive data source lineage reports
  • Identify reference data needs
  • Recommend data extraction and replication patterns
  • Migrate data from big data to AWS Cloud on S3, Snowflake, or Redshift
  • Evaluate information needed to make decisions
  • Break down complex problems into manageable pieces and implement timely solutions
  • Manage problems that require involvement of others to solve
  • Reach sound decisions quickly
  • Evaluate alternative risks and solutions before taking action
  • Optimize resource usage

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Databricks, especially S3, Snowflake, and Python programming language
  • Experience with Shell scripting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ETL methods and dimensional data models experience
  • Relational databases and SQL experience
  • Excellent collaboration, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment
