Access Facade Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Façade Access Consultant/Engineer to join our team of dedicated specialists in the Façade Engineering group.
">The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide façade access advice and design expertise on challenging single or multi-disciplinary projects, leveraging resources across the organization.
">Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Liaising with the wider design team to advise on the integration of façade access systems into the project.">
- Leading the design to achieve the optimal combination of cost, aesthetic impact and functionality, while adhering to best health and safety practices.">
- Preparing façade access strategy reports at key stages of the design of the project.">
- Preparing Employer's Requirements Documentation and System Specifications for façade access and façade replacement systems at the end of the design stage.">
- Reviewing contractor drawings and inspecting site throughout the construction process to ensure compliance to the spec, the design intent and relevant legislation.">
- Managing multiple façade access consulting projects simultaneously and working directly with clients.">
- Conducting research on industry trends and currently available technologies used in façade access.">
Mandatory Skills:
">- ">
- Experience of having worked with façade access systems, either within a consultancy or from a contractor's role.">
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of façade access systems, their performance and operation, as well as current engineering standards, practices, regulations and legislation.">
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation and relevant academic background.">
- Competence in AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3D design software.">
