The Role of a Demand Planner

At the core of our supply chain organization, we are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to drive demand planning and forecasting initiatives across various product lines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain accurate demand plans using historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure alignment and effective communication of demand plans.
  • Analysis of sales data, seasonality, and other market drivers will help identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Presentation of regular reporting and insights to stakeholders is crucial, including executive-level summaries and detailed analytics.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in demand planning and forecasting is vital.

Requirements:

  1. 8-10 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting, preferably in consumer goods, food and beverage, or manufacturing.
  2. A strong background in statistical modeling and data analysis is highly desirable.
  3. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP ECC, S4 Hana, or JDE is also desirable.
  4. A solid understanding of S&OP and S&OE processes is required.
  5. Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively are essential.
  6. Ability to work effectively with global Sales and Marketing teams is necessary.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  8. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
