Global Demand Planning Lead

We are seeking a seasoned planning professional to oversee the demand and supply planning function for a global sportswear brand.

About Our Requirements

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing robust demand forecasting models using statistical methods and market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demand & Supply Planning: Develop, maintain, and optimize demand forecasting models to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • DIO Management: Monitor and balance Days Inventory Outstanding to meet service levels while minimizing working capital efficiency.
  • Sales Analysis: Conduct comprehensive sales trend analysis, seasonality patterns, and market demand assessment to inform business decisions.
  • Factory Capacity Planning: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to align production capacity with demand requirements.
  • Level Loading: Implement production smoothing strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize variability.
  • OR Planning: Oversee Order Review planning processes to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial targets.
  • Supply Chain Operations: Manage end-to-end supply planning processes, overseeing purchase order management and supplier coordination. Implement inventory optimization strategies across all product categories.
  • Strategic Planning & Analysis: Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual plans and reports aligned with business objectives. Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for supply chain disruptions.
  • Team Management: Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development for team members. Foster cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
