About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Demand Planning Strategist to lead our planning and forecasting efforts for e-commerce channels, ensuring that our sales targets are met.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate demand forecasts using data analytics and market trend analysis.
- Liaise with sales, category, and supply chain teams to ensure successful collaborations.
- Establish strong processes, including Strategic Business Planning (SBP), to control inventory and ensure timely reviews.
- Ensure stock availability against forecast, minimizing stock out and loss of sale.
- Monitor order fulfillment ratio with supply chain on goods reaching e-commerce warehouse.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in footwear/apparel.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
