Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. As a seasoned data engineer with experience in digital channel activities, data engineering, and cloud technologies, you will be working on an exciting project focused on integrating and processing channel activity data from multiple sources.

This role requires strong knowledge of AWS, Python, and hands-on experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Terradata. You will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for processing channel activity data, leveraging orchestration tools like Airflow to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ingest and process data from various digital channels, ensuring data quality, governance, and integrity across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures using AWS services and Python.
  • Work on complex data engineering solutions using big data platforms and AWS technologies.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to define data processing requirements.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions related to data lakes, data warehouses, and big data ecosystems.
  • Engage in continuous learning and adapting of new technologies and industry best practices to improve data processes.

Requirements:

Experience with Data Engineering: Proven experience working as a Data Engineer in greenfield environments.

  • AWS: Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Pyspark, Glue, EMR, lambda, Redshift, Athena.
  • Python: Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
  • Big Data Platforms: Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Terradata.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data from different digital channels.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex data-related challenges.
