Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cloud Security Specialist to join our security team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 1 year of experience in cybersecurity or cloud technologies.

The Cloud Security Specialist will support the implementation and monitoring of security measures for cloud-based systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services.

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Support in implementing cloud security best practices and policies.
  • Help with identifying and mitigating potential cloud security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.
  • Assist in compliance audits and documentation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends, threats, and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and basic security concepts.
  • Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cloud security.

Preferred: Internship or academic project related to cybersecurity or cloud technologies, certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
