Physical Design Expert Lead

As a seasoned physical design expert, we seek an individual with unparalleled expertise in spearheading large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of complex design concepts and be well-versed in managing intricate project cycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independent planning and execution of all aspects of physical design, including floor planning, place and route, clock tree synthesis, clock distribution, extraction, timing closure, power and signal integrity analysis, physical verification, and DFM.
  • Strategic involvement in all stages of the design process, from floor planning and placement to routing, physical verification, and IREM.
  • Expertise in timing closure methodologies and thorough comprehension of DRC, LVS, ERC, and PERC rule files for lower tech node layout verification.
  • Experience working with EDA tools and scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, and EDA tool-specific scripting.
  • Ability to assume full ownership of block/sub-system execution cycles and drive innovation through out-of-box thinking to meet demanding PPA requirements.
