Job Title: IT Governance Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned IT governance professional to oversee and shape our organization's IT governance strategy, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and enabling continuous improvement across IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Governance Frameworks: Lead and manage IT governance frameworks and operations in alignment with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 standards.
  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate IT risk assessments, audit readiness activities, and regulatory reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IT processes support organizational goals.
  • IT Governance Calendar: Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings, and action tracking.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare governance documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior management, risk committees, and audit boards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Policy Development and Execution: Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance: Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
