This role involves working closely with team members in Malaysia and Chennai, while engaging with application teams across the bank globally.

  • Reaching out to application teams, consolidating and governing collected information, and building an accurate inventory of IDP/API usage.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Working closely with team members in Malaysia and Chennai, while engaging with application teams across the bank globally.
  2. Leading the manual discovery of IDP and API gateway usage, as automated scans may not be available to detect integrations.
  3. Reaching out to application teams, consolidating and governing collected information, and building an accurate inventory of IDP/API usage.
  4. Using questionnaires to capture details on authentication methods, credential lifecycles, and governance gaps.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IT Information Security.
  • A good understanding of IAM control reviews.
  • Experience in user access administration model on various applications.
  • Experience in IAM projects, particularly around IDP and API security.
  • A good understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders to handover the transition efficiently.
  • Good experience in managing application & infrastructure related issues.
  • Good knowledge in project planning and risk management.
  • Escalation management and stakeholder management.
Preferred Knowledge:
  • A strong understanding of IDP (Identity Providers) and API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, API keys).
  • Knowledge of API credential lifecycle and governance practices.
  • The ability to conduct manual discovery, engage stakeholders, and capture complex technical flows.
