About the Role:The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and high uptime. This includes deploying and configuring software applications, hardware devices, and network systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain biometric attendance systems, ensuring accurate records and efficient processes.
- Author and publish internal documentation, such as environment diagrams, installation/configuration guides, and release notes, to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- Deploy web products built on the Microsoft stack, including Windows 2003, IIS 6.0, MSMQ, and SQL Server.
- Maintain Server 2005 and other third-party components and services, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Deploy SQL Server data patches to multiple environments, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in establishing and implementing configuration management programs and policies, ensuring consistency and control across the organization.
- Troubleshoot and debug environment and infrastructure problems found in production and non-production environments, providing timely resolutions and root cause analysis.
- Assist in managing product integration services with multiple business partners, including real-time web services and batch processing, ensuring smooth collaboration and data exchange.
- Manage corporate systems in a racked Windows/Intel environment, including Windows 2003, Windows XP, Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Terminal Services, DNS services, spam filters, intrusion detection systems, Cisco VPN, firewalls, and VMWare servers.
- Automate systems monitoring tasks using standard monitoring tools, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Provision server hardware, configure, and deploy, ensuring efficient resource allocation and utilization.
- Manage data backup schedules, reporting, and execution for both internal corporate systems and data center (NOC) systems, ensuring data safety and recoverability.
- Build and deploy virtualization servers for corporate and data center environments, improving efficiency and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and support corporate operations such as corporate web sites, SFTP sites, ticketing system sites, test management suite, and SMTP services, ensuring high uptime and responsiveness.
This role offers a competitive salary of ₹1,200,000 per annum, plus additional benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.
