Business Intelligence Specialist Role Overview

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that drive business decisions.

Your primary focus will be on collaborating with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements, translating them into actionable insights. You will develop and maintain robust data models in Power BI to support analytical needs, analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and provide training and ongoing support to end-users.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
  • Design and develop interactive and insightful visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns that inform business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models in Power BI.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Power BI consulting and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in Figma for wireframing and UI/UX design.
  • Strong grasp of wireframing principles and design thinking methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in data analysis and data modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Agile project environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in SQL and other data querying languages.
  • Familiarity with DAX and Power Query for Power BI report development.
