Reconnecting Young Indians: A Vision for the Future

India's youth are increasingly disconnected from one another. As cities expand and people spend more time indoors, online, and less time engaging in meaningful interactions, a new platform is emerging to bridge this gap.

This initiative aims to bring young Indians together, fostering real-life connections through shared experiences, such as reading books, debating politics, brainstorming startups, flirting, volunteering, running, playing games, or simply finding genuine community.

The platform will evolve over time, but its mission remains clear: to help young Indians reconnect with each other meaningfully and offline.

Your Role:

As Finance & Operations Leader, you will oversee the financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up of our platform. You'll ensure we have the necessary resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.

  • Financial Model Building: Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Fundraising Lead: Prepare investor materials, pitch decks, and manage financial modeling and investor relations.
  • Financial Systems Development: Build robust accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, and CAC/LTV analysis systems.
  • Compliance and Governance: Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Marketplace Operations: Design and execute an operations playbook that balances marketplace liquidity and ensures enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
  • Trust & Safety Operations: Establish dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines processes.
  • Partnerships and Hiring: Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations, and hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is highly valued.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • Strategic thinker who can roll up their sleeves in early execution.
  • Passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
