Operational Theatre Manager Job DescriptionThe role of the Operational Theatre Manager is to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of all operation theatres.This includes ensuring that the OTs are ready for use, including sterilization, equipment checks, and staff deployment.The Operational Theatre Manager must also manage OT scheduling in coordination with surgeons and anesthetists.A key responsibility is to ensure compliance with surgical safety protocols and infection control standards.The OT Manager will lead and guide OT technicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth surgical procedures.Maintaining inventory and requisitioning of OT consumables and instruments is another crucial aspect of this role.The Operational Theatre Manager must ensure accurate documentation and reporting.Skills and Qualifications
