Job Title: Operating Theatre Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations in the operating theatre, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Monitor strict adherence to sterilization and infection control practices.
  • Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff for seamless workflow management.
  • Maintain inventory of surgical instruments, consumables, and medical equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Supervise OT technicians, scrub nurses, and other support staff; allocate duties and manage shift rotations efficiently.
  • Ensure timely maintenance and functioning of OT equipment and machines to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor staff performance, conduct training, and ensure continuous skill development for employee growth.
  • Document surgical procedures, incidents, and OT logs accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation compliance activities to maintain high standards.
  • Handle emergency situations, resolve conflicts, and report incidents to higher authorities in a timely manner.
