Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:\

    • Design scalable, distributed systems capable of handling vast volumes of transactions.\
    • Lead system design reviews and technical decision-making for complex healthcare workflows.\
    • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security meet stringent healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR).\
    • Develop and drive technical strategies for claims adjudication, provider networks, and member management systems.\
    • Collaborate with architects on system integration patterns and data flow optimization.\
    • Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to contribute innovative ideas.\\
    • People Management:\

      • Build, lead, and mentor a diverse team of software engineers across multiple product areas.\
      • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.\
      • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.\
      • Recruit top engineering talent and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.\
      • Manage team capacity, sprint planning, and delivery commitments effectively.\\
      • Cross-functional Collaboration:\
        • \
        • Partner closely with Product, Data, and Operations teams on feature planning and delivery.\
        • Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications and implementation roadmaps.\
        • Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders effectively.\
        • Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery processes throughout the organization.\\
        • Qualifications:\
          • \
          • 6+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 1 year in leadership or management roles.\
          • Strong system design expertise with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.\
          • Hands-on coding experience.\
          • Experience with real-time processing systems and high-volume transaction processing.\
          • A proven track record of successful large-scale system migrations or platform modernizations.\
          • A demonstrated ability to scale engineering teams and manage technical talent effectively.\
          • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, and modern engineering practices.\
          • Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment.\
          • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\\
