Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented functional tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will possess up to 2 years of experience in manual testing, including internships.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand business requirements and create test scenarios and cases.
- Execute test cases manually and report defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Maintain proper documentation of test plans, cases, and results.
- Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles.
- Good knowledge of test design techniques and case preparation.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools (JIRA preferred).
- Ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication both verbally and in writing.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (optional but recommended).
- Exposure to agile methodology is advantageous.
