Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development process, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and operations, to identify and prioritize areas for improvement and to implement solutions that enhance the overall quality of our software.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software
  • Analyze and report on test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve software quality
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reporting tools to track progress and measure success
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our software remains competitive and innovative

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium or Appium
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
