Are you ready to take on a challenge that requires technical expertise and problem-solving skills? As a Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payment systems.

Our team supports multiple payment products and processes millions of transactions every day across numerous countries and payment methods. We build systems that provide various payments features and process payments at an unprecedented scale, with accuracy, speed, and mission-critical availability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software development or application support, with knowledge of modern programming languages (Java, Python) and troubleshooting techniques. They will also be familiar with web services, distributed systems, and web application development.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects, develop tools to aid operations and maintenance, and contribute to system and support status reporting. You will also have ownership of one or more digital products or components and work with the support team to hand off or take over active support issues.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of software development or 1+ years of application support experience
  • Experience scripting in modern programming languages (Java, Python)
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems and documenting findings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining web services end-to-end
