Senior Technical Specialist for HVAC Systems

About the Role:
This position is focused on delivering high-quality pre-sales support to our customers by working closely with the products team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing optimized solutions and accurate technical proposals, ensuring our sales team receives the best possible outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales support on HVAC equipment selection, including AHU, VAV boxes, Fans, Split units, Chillers, and Primary & Secondary pumping systems.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop engineered equipment submittals.
- Follow standardized submittal generation guidelines for preparation and processing of equipment engineering submittals.
- Monitor engineering activities and project deliverables in terms of quality, cost, and time.
- Work closely with sales teams to provide systems applications advice, creative solutions to unique customer needs, and use competitor knowledge to create advantages.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of HVAC equipment, including AHU, FCU, VAV boxes, Split systems, chillers, and Primary & Secondary pumping systems.
- A solid understanding of principles of large refrigeration systems and associated equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC equipment product selection process, preparing design specification and quotations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform successfully in a multifunctional-team-work environment.
- Quick learner with a keen eye for problem-solving and proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills and people management experience would be an added advantage.
