Senior HVAC Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thermal Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cycle balancing, heat load calculation, and component selection for efficient thermal performance and compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, analyze, optimize, and integrate HVAC systems for seamless operation and efficient thermal performance.
  • Conduct thorough heat load calculations and select suitable HVAC components for reliable operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve imbalances in HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Evaluate and recommend high-efficiency and reliable components to enhance system performance and reduce energy consumption.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering, with a focus on cycle balancing, heat load calculations, and component selection.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Creo, CFD Energy Plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Technical Requirements:
  • Knowledge of thermal materials (thermal interface material, insulators, solid conductors).
  • 1D thermal and electrical system modeling knowledge and development of 1D codes for Li-ion battery.
  • Knowledge of Battery electrical architecture and loss calculations.
  • Preparation of Data sheets and Calculations for heat load and temperature profiles.
  • Selection & design of subsystem components like connectors, hoses, pumps, filter units, absorbents, etc.
