Role Description

This full-time on-site role involves day-to-day operation and maintenance tasks of the power plant. The Shift Engineer will work closely with the operations and maintenance team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the power plant.

The Engineer will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the boiler associated with the Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Power Plant
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Power Generation knowledge is necessary, coupled with experience in Steam and Electrical Engineering
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills are necessary
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of Boilers associated with combined cycle power plants is mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years / Diploma in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience is required
  • Valid BOE Certificate is compulsory
