Accountant AP/AR Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant AP/AR to manage accounts receivable and payable processes, utilizing strong analytical and data entry skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Generate accurate and timely customer invoices, monitoring aging and following up on outstanding payments.
    • Reconcile customer accounts, resolving billing discrepancies and collaborating with sales and customer service teams.
    • Process customer payments, applying cash receipts and maintaining accurate records to support cash flow forecasting.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to identify doubtful debts and prepare provisions for AR.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Process invoices accurately and timely, verifying approvals and coding, while coordinating with procurement to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
    • Monitor vendor payment terms to optimize working capital, maintain accurate records of AP transactions and documentation.
    • Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
    • Manage vendor master management, creating new vendors, updating information, and ensuring compliance.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to AP and AR, preparing financial reports and analysis on payables/receivables aging and cash flow.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and data entry experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and work coordination skills.
  • Ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and computer skills.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with tax compliance in AP/AR and strong working knowledge of reconciliation processes.
