Functional QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional QA Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring the quality, performance, and functionality of applications through rigorous testing, defect tracking, and process improvement.

  • Design, prepare, and execute functional, regression, and integration test cases to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of UI/UX, performance, and platform compatibility to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and track bugs, leveraging technical expertise to drive resolutions.
  • Document defects clearly and follow up to closure using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Maintain compliance with QA standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing methodologies.
  • Participate in test planning, estimations, and reviews to drive alignment and productivity within the QA team.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Functional QA.
  • Hands-on experience in functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and test design techniques.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Familiarity with performance and compatibility testing for gaming applications is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Exposure to automation testing tools or scripting.
