Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist is a vital role within the DevSecOps department, responsible for ensuring the delivery of secure and reliable software across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for application interfaces and operations, maintain quality gates, track defects, and conduct release readiness reviews.
  • Security and Compliance: Perform vulnerability scanning using tools like Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio, support audit readiness, and escalate unresolved blockers.
  • Collaboration and Support: Participate in regular QA reviews, collaborate with teams, and provide technical support for QA-related issues.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain system documentation, update QA procedures, and prepare regular status reports.
Additional Duties:
  • Ensure smooth operation and integration of QA processes within DevSecOps.
  • Support release and deployment coordination.
  • Provide training and support to team members on QA tools and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in QA or related positions, preferably within DevSecOps environments. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, with relevant certifications being a plus.

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
  • Knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
