Senior Mining Executive

This is a senior leadership position overseeing the operations of two mines with a combined production capacity of 7 MTPA.

About the Role
  • Develop and execute comprehensive mining strategies to optimize financial impact and achieve production targets.
  • Manage statutory permissions and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including DGMS, MoEF, and MoC.
  • Organize and manage contracts with Mining Development Operators (MDOs) for both mines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Overall control of production, dispatch, productivity, safety, planning, supervision, and execution of mining activities.
  • Achieve production targets while optimizing financial impact.
  • Maintain process efficiency to meet business plan targets in terms of quality and quantity on schedule.
  • Implement global mining practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mining Engineering or related field.
  • First Class Mines Manager's Competency Certificate (Coal).
