Job Description

Qualification:

- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mining Engineering
- First Class Mines Manager's Competency Certificate (Coal)

Job Responsibilities:

- Overall control of budgeting, production, dispatch, productivity, safety, planning, supervision, and execution of mining activities for two mines with a combined capacity of 7 MTPA
- Achieve production targets of both mines while optimizing financial impact
- Manage statutory permissions and ensure compliance with DGMS, MoEF, MoC, and other regulatory bodies
- Organize and manage Mining Development Operator (MDO) contracts for both mines
- Supervise adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Plan and execute new Green-field mining projects focusing on techno-commercial, social, and environmental feasibility
- Drive technology adoption, innovation, and sustainability initiatives within the company
- Ensure efficient asset and resource planning including selection, allocation, utilization, productivity, and efficiency
- Maintain process efficiency to meet business plan targets in terms of quality and quantity on schedule
- Prepare project reports and ensure phase-wise compliance for Green-field projects including land acquisition, R&R, public hearings, environmental and forest clearances, licensing, and transit passes
- Implement global mining practices and technologies
- Maintain strong knowledge of mining regulatory norms including MoEF, CCO, DGMS, PCB, land acquisition, and R&R
