Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Simphony POS Expert to join our team at Atom, a leading technology service company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in POS system implementation, configuration, and support, with a focus on the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement and configure the Simphony POS solution to meet specific client needs and operational workflows.
  2. Install and set up the Simphony POS system at client sites, ensuring all hardware and software components are correctly configured and functional.
  3. Customize the system to address any gaps in functionality and ensure it meets all client specifications, collaborating with Oracle support teams as needed.
  4. Work with Oracle Simphony's open API to integrate third-party platforms, such as online ordering, delivery services, and mobile payment processing.
  5. Utilize Simphony's reporting and analytics suite to provide insights on trends, forecasts, and opportunities, assisting clients in optimizing their operations through data-driven decisions.
  6. Experience with the entire implementation project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to final deployment and post-implementation support, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  7. Create and maintain detailed documentation of the configuration, installation, and support processes, ensuring all project-related documents are up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in POS system implementation, preferably with Oracle Simphony or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, particularly in restaurants, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting POS systems, understanding of multi-channel kitchen display systems (KDS) and their integration with Simphony, experience with self-service kiosks and mobile POS solutions, knowledge of Series 3/Series 6/Series 8 Workstation and 700 Series tablet, and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Oracle Linux operating systems.
