Lead Solar Project Developer

We seek an accomplished project lead with expertise in managing large-scale solar projects from initiation to commissioning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning & Strategy
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Establish KPIs and project monitoring mechanisms.
Project Execution & Monitoring
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning, ensuring strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Monitor daily site progress, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Engineering Oversight
  • Review and validate engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and ensure smooth integration of solar systems with grid / Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
Team Management
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders, and manage contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards at site.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / Commercial and Industrial (C&I) projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
