Job Opportunity: Automation Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a vital role in strengthening our software development process.

Your primary responsibility will be designing, developing, and maintaining reliable automation tests for our applications built on NestJS, Next.js, Node.js, React, and React Native.

  • You will work closely with developers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive automation coverage across frontend, backend, and mobile applications.
  • Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests for React (web) and React Native (mobile) applications.
  • Write and maintain API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services, using tools like Postman and scripting frameworks.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
  • Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Detox for React Native).
  • Proficiency in API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Detox).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
  • Basic understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
