Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain automated regression suites and test harnesses to ensure high-quality testing results. Develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies to streamline the testing process.

Collaborate with development teams to deliver business functionality on time and meet acceptance criteria. Act as a test lead, overseeing the work of other testers and assigning tasks to meet project deadlines.

Develop test cases and automation suites using Python, ensuring efficient and effective testing processes. Utilize strong testing skills to provide guidance and assist project staff.

Review and approve the work of project team members in script writing, expected results, test results, and defect descriptions. Ensure best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule.

Focus on building efficient solutions for Web, Services/APIs, and Database testing requirements. Participate in internal/cross-team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, and technical reviews.

Excellent understanding of CI/CD Processes and Continuous Testing Methodologies is required. Agile Practitioner with strong English proficiency level (B2) is preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Software testing experience in all phases of testing including test planning, execution, and closure.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester.
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation.
  • Experience working with SOAP and REST services and understanding of SOA architecture.
  • SQL query skills are required.
  • Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git.
  • Test data management techniques and change management tools experience.
  • Strong English language proficiency level (B2).

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
