About the Company
This is a pivotal time to join our journey as we explore scaling further and looking to onboard a Finance Manager who will oversee end-to-end accounting and book closure activities across all three geographies.
This high-impact role demands a strong foundation in accounting and international financial reporting. While it will begin as a contractual position for a minimum of one year, with a planned transition to payroll thereafter.
Job Description- We are seeking an experienced professional to plan, implement, and oversee the overall accounting strategy and day-to-day finance operations.
- The ideal candidate will manage core accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
- They will also handle reconciliations related to capital assets, trust accounts, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.
- The successful candidate will monitor and analyze accounting data to generate timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures while maintaining a deep understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Driving timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures as per expectations.
- Assisting the Controller/CFO with daily banking requirements, including accurate processing of positive pay transactions.
- Collaborating with the entire finance team and management to align with departmental and organizational goals.
- Candidates should be CA / CMA / ICWA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), or semi-qualified professionals with 8 - 9 years of relevant combined experience (including training).
- Proven experience in overseeing accounting operations and managing general ledger processes across multiple entities.
- Solid understanding of Income Tax and GST provisions, with practical application to day-to-day transactions.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently across teams and with leadership.
