Job Title: Digital Video Storyteller

Location: Mumbai (Work from Office)

About the Role:

We're looking for a highly creative and self-driven digital video storyteller who can own the ideation, scripting, and production of engaging content that builds viewership and subscriber growth.

You'll work closely with writers, editors, designers, and the strategy team to create compelling stories that combine entertainment, education, and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create original IPs: Research trends, analyze competitors, and pitch video concepts tailored to the brand's niche and audience.
  2. Scripting & Storytelling: Craft scripts that balance storytelling, education, and entertainment - optimized for viewer retention.
  3. End-to-End Video Production: Lead the process from ideation to execution - including scripting, filming, editing oversight, and publishing.
  4. Project Management: Coordinate with editors, designers, voiceover artists, and other collaborators to ensure on-time, high-quality video delivery.
  5. YouTube Optimization: Write clickbait titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.
  6. Performance Analysis: Track video metrics and retention analytics. Make data-backed decisions to improve future content.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience in video content creation or digital storytelling, preferably for YouTube.
  2. Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills
  3. Deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, SEO, analytics, and audience psychology.
  4. Hands-on experience with video production (camera work, editing knowledge, lighting, audio) is a plus.
  5. Familiarity with tools like YouTube Studio, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Notion, etc.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment.

Bonus Points If You:

  1. Have your own successful YouTube channel or have scaled one for a brand/creator.
  2. Can wear multiple hats - from scripting to filming to editing.
  3. Have experience working with influencer/content creator teams.
  4. Understand virality, trend cycles, and online culture.
