Role Description

We're looking for a creative and fast-paced
Video Editor
who lives and breathes internet culture. This is a
remote full-time role
for someone who's obsessed with creating
thumb-stopping short-form content
for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and beyond.

You'll be editing everything from
podcast reels to event aftermovies to talking-head content
, bringing them to life with sharp cuts, trendy transitions, engaging captions, memes, and music.

Key Responsibilities

Edit
short-form video content
(Reels, Shorts, etc.) for podcasts, events, and social media

Add text animations, captions, transitions, and sound effects in line with current trends

Edit
talking-head content
and make it visually engaging for digital consumption

Work closely with the content team to align edits with brand tone and platform best practices

Maintain quick turnaround times while ensuring high quality

Requirements

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

Strong understanding of
new-age social media editing styles
(think: jump cuts, zooms, captions, meme inserts)

Prior experience editing
podcast reels, event videos, and talking-head content

Strong sense of pace, rhythm, storytelling, and timing

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment

Bonus: Motion graphics skills, basic color grading, or sound design abilities

Bonus if you:

Have edited for influencers, creators, or podcast shows before

Stay updated with viral trends and be active on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
